Method of use:
Apply, spreading evenly over skin which is thoroughly dry at least a half an
hour before exposure to the sun. To guarantee maximum protection apply the
cream again periodically. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
We should not forget that although we use a good photoprotector we should
observe the following recommendations when we want to get some sun,
because the sun is not as harmless as it seems.
1. Apply the solar protection half an hour before exposure to the sun and
reapply frequently, particularly after bathing.
2. Make exposure to the sun gradual and avoid sunbathing between and 12
and 4 in the afternoon.
3)- Avoid tanning sessions with UVA sunlamps, since they speed up the
ageing process and are the cause of the appearance of cutaneous cancers.
4)- Avoid exposing children under 3 during the hours of maximum solar
radiation, and during hours of lesser intensity, use a very high protection
factor. Since the skin conserves the memory of all the radiation received
during childhood, the more radiation received, the greater the risk of the
appearance of cancer in adulthood.
5)- Remember that sunburn can happen while doing any sort of outdoor
activity: walking, cycling, etc.
6)- Do not be over-confident in circumstances that involve additional risk
or that give a false sense of security: altitude, cloud cover, reflective surfaces,
snow, water, etc.
7)- Protect yourself with a cap and sunglasses. Children should also be protected
with a non-transparent, dry T shirt.
8)- Drink water frequently and in quantity, particularly elderly people and
children. The sun dehydrates our organism.
9)- Finally, if you notice that a freckle or mole changes shape, size or colour,
consult you dermatologist.
